Today a local Big Island company, Hawaiian Jellys, LLC., donated approximately 1600 pair of their Hawaiian Jellys Slip…aaahs™ to the Hawaii Island United Way with a retail value of over $65,000 towards the Big Island Recovery Efforts. Hawaiian Jellys strives to build and perfect Hawaii’s most comfortable slip…aaahs™, according to company spokesperson, Jeannie Holzheimer.

Hawaiian Jellys also co-sponsored the 8th Annual Tommy Bahama’s Big Island Classic Golf Tournament held at the Mauna Kea Hotel in June through in-kind donations and an additional fundraising campaign benefitting the North Hawaii Hospice Organization. “We are dedicated to making a positive difference in our wonderful local community as much as possible and giving back to our great State through our various outreach efforts.” Hawaiian Jellys’ other outreach efforts include supporting Hawaii Preparatory Academy, Sustainable Kohala, Kawaihae Canoe Club, North Kohala Community Emergency Response Team, The Arc of Kona, Neighborhood Place of Kona & Puna, and local veterans groups to name a few.

Hawaiian Jellys is also a strong supporter of the Country’s Disabled Combat Veterans through the national charitable organization, The Independence Fund, who donate electronic wheelchairs and other important life altering products to our Combat Veterans.
